Our values

Three core values to shape one team to success.

The values that shape us

What truly defines us as a company?

We asked colleagues around the world which values matter most to them. Their answers were inspiring. Open, honest and clear communication, the freedom to share new ideas without fear of judgment, trust, leading by example, teamwork, collaboration, unity across borders and functions.

Through workshops held across regions and departments, we shaped our values together. These values are more than words; they reflect who we are and how we work every day.

Today, we are proud that these values guide us into the future.

We act with integrity

We do what is right, even when no one is watching. At Deceuninck, trust is the foundation of everything we build: between colleagues, with customers, and with our surroundings.

Integrity is not a rule, but a way of working, thinking, and interacting with one another. It is reflected in the small things: being honest, keeping our commitments, and taking responsibility when something goes wrong.

We want to be proud not only of what we create, but also of the way we do it.

We work as one team

We look beyond our own responsibilities and break down silos. Whenever and wherever a colleague needs help, we try to assist accordingly. We push through together in tough times, so we can celebrate success together too. The team and company goals are the priority. Personal goals are set within these ambitions but will not replace team and company goals.

To work together efficiently, we need to treat everyone equally. Every colleague deserves to have their voice heard with respect and fair treatment.

To work as one team also means setting clear goals and assigning clear roles within the team, and everyone respecting them, to ensure maximum productivity. As we respect one another, we give and receive feedback constructively. In this way, we highlight where we thrive and where growth is possible.

Together Everyone Achieves More.

We take initiative

At Deceuninck, taking initiative means owning responsibility and actively seeking ways to improve. It’s about stepping up, taking charge, and making things happen.

We approach our work with pride; owning not just tasks, but their outcomes, whether positive or negative. Every (small) step forward deserves recognition and celebration, while we remain critical and willing to take calculated risks.

Failure isn’t an ending but an opportunity to learn, ignite a review of processes, and evolve. Continuous improvement should be(come) part of our DNA.

Taking initiative goes beyond sharing ideas and waiting for feedback. It’s about actively contributing to results, asking for help when needed, offering support when others need it, and championing both your own ideas and those of your colleagues.
